Rachel joined us in May 2024. She has previously worked in senior Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) roles at the Voluntary and Community Sector Emergencies Partnership, Arts Council England, and the British Red Cross.
Rachel has always been passionate about social justice, equality and recognising the skills within different communities. Her professional and volunteer work spans a range of organisations including educational community-based projects in Eritrea, East Africa and community based initiatives in the UK. These initiatives focused on supporting people in the asylum process, refugees, and increasing access to volunteering opportunities.
In her role, she will work alongside the Executive Team and staff to create an inclusive and respectful culture for residents and colleagues, and to improve services.
