Suzy has been a health and social care professional for 20+ years and has been a successful registered care home manager and regional director for some of the largest care service providers in the UK. She has worked in a wide range of care settings including within a major hospital, several community-based care roles, and as a registered care home manager.
More recently she has specialised in dementia care management, and recently managed a care home exclusively for residents with dementia, making significant improvements to the facilities, services, and overall standards of care.
She is driven by a genuine desire to care for others. She is a Champion for the Alzheimer’s Society, taking part in regular fundraising, and was a finalist in the 2014 National Dementia Care Awards for best dementia care manager.
