School holidays are a time for children to relax, have fun, and explore new experiences. It can also be a challenging time for families – trying to find affordable exciting and fun activities for everyone to enjoy.
Every school holiday, colleagues from our communities team in York run and fund packed activity sessions for families. On the day, children will take part in a fun activity and receive a pack lunch and be given a hot meal to take home.
Emma Green, Viv Fleming & Amy Bates, Community Development Officers said, “Offering these sessions is such an important and valuable part of our role. It’s wonderful to build relationships with both familiar faces and meet new families. Bringing people together for a shared meal is a great way to connect with the community.”

Outdoor Sports Fun - Inflatable Mega Pitch

Location: New Earswick Folk Hall, New Earswick, York, YO32 4AQ
This activity is most suitable for 5 - 12 year olds. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
