We’re excited to share some great opportunities for you to get involved. The free events which you can enjoy both in-person or / and online are hosted by JRHT and other organisations. 

The focus and aim of these events is to gather your feedback, help you engage with your community, and provide valuable support.

Upcoming JRHT events 

These JRHT events listed below can be attended in person or accessed online.

Resident Communications and Customer Services Feedback Group
Every 3rd Monday of the month from 3pm until 4.30pm (In-person in York or via Teams)

This group is your chance to review communications like posters, articles, and letters sent to other residents. Your feedback helps us to  improve these communications and makes them more effective for everyone.

Residents' Assembly
Bramley Room, Folk Hall

  • 28 November, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm

The meetings are held quarterly. Next year’s dates will be agreed in December. These dates will be advertised on our website. 

Join the Residents' Assembly to learn about JRHT’s strategic plans and provide your input on what’s working well and where we can improve. 

The information from these assemblies such as reports, agendas, and minutes will also be available on our website.


Resident Property Services and Improvement Group

Your insights on the repairs process are crucial to improving our property services. If you’d like to share your experiences and help shape how we manage JRHT homes and properties, please contact us to receive updates on upcoming sessions.

Accessibility in Design Panel
Ad hoc meetings

If you have experience of living with a disability, we would love your input. This group focuses on making sure new housing developments are designed to meet the needs of residents. Your voice will help shape the design of future homes.

This event is your chance to make your voice heard by housing providers across the North. 

Tpas
Tpas supports tenant engagement with housing associations and resident groups. If you’d like to join any of their online sessions, contact Lara Winters, Resident Involvement Officer.

The Housing Ombudsman is an independent, impartial and free service for social housing residents.  They work to strengthen complaints processes and encourages learning from resident feedback.  It offers advice through virtual workshops and webinars. You can explore their resources here:
