Introducing the new JRHT recognition scheme

With the emergence of our new JRHT strategic objectives, we’re excited to unveil an updated and more inclusive recognition scheme. The new scheme is designed to be open, transparent and to celebrate the valuable contributions of everyone connected to JRHT.

As part of these changes, we’ve have revamped the previous JRHT Manager’s Thank you scheme.  Our new JRHT Values Champions scheme will honour the exceptional contributions of colleagues, residents, volunteers and community groups.

Recognising contributions
We want to ensure that the hard work and dedication of individuals and groups is properly acknowledged. Whether its colleagues, residents, volunteers or community groups, we will celebrate the contributions that make a real difference in JRHT’s work and in the communities we support.

Chris Simpson, Executive Director at JRHT, expressed his enthusiasm for the updated scheme, saying:  “I'm excited about this new and improved recognition scheme. By updating it, we are able to include residents, volunteers, and groups who play a huge part in the communities JRHT serves. Without them, the communities would not be the vibrant and thriving places they are. I look forward to receiving the first nominations in October."

How it works
On a quarterly basis , we will invite nominations for individuals or groups – whether – a colleagues, residents, volunteers or teams – who have gone above and beyond in embodying JRHT’s core values:

  • We are built on Trust
  • We show we Care
  • We make a Difference

Anyone who lives in a JRHT neighbourhood, works or volunteers for JRHT can submit a nomination. A panel, consisting of the Chris Simpson, JRHT Executive Director, Jen Piggin the Chair of the JRHT Staff Council and Sheelagh Loftus, JRHT Residents Assembly will review the nominations. Two awards will be given in each category – one for colleagues/teams and one for residents/volunteers or groups / organisations. Winners will receive an award recognising their contributions.
