We are delighted that the City of York Council has approved our planning application to build 6 much needed new and affordable homes on Acacia Avenue in New Earswick
The homes will be built on land off Acacia Avenue in New Earswick. The majority of the land is currently occupied by garages.
The homes will be 2 and 3 bedroom and will be split between Social Rent (4 homes) and Shared Ownership (2 homes).
All homes will be built to high energy efficiency standards, have private parking, garden and external storage. The homes will be accessed directly from Acacia Avenue.
It is expected that building will start in early 2024 and are planned to be completed by the end of the year.
The homes are part of our wider plans to provide more affordable homes within New Earswick and other areas within Yorkshire and the North East.
Dan Booth, Development Project Manager said “We are delighted that the City of York Council has approved our plans for 6 much needed affordable homes within New Earswick. The homes will provide families with much needed affordable homes within York where houses prices and private rental costs continue to increase above already unaffordable levels.”
