Derwenthorpe Community Fund

The Derwenthorpe Community Fund was created to invest in initiatives that benefit the people and communities who live in and around the Derwenthorpe development. It has a particular focus on supporting activities identified by local people.

The Derwenthorpe Community Fund is currently closed to applications.

Previously, the Community Fund has supported:  

  • activities for children and young people provided by Tang Hall Explore and North Yorkshire Youth 
  • Derwenthorpe Nature Group to offer workshops on nature-based skills   
  • Osbaldwick Primary school to improve their wildlife area 
  • story time sessions for under 5s with additional needs at Tang Hall Explore 
  • a weekly Breakfast Club at Tang Hall Community Centre.
